After earning three Oscar nominations for her 2021 directorial debut, The Lost Daughter, Maggie Gyllenhaal is making her return to the director’s chair. Her new film, The Bride!, is partly inspired by Mary Shelley’s classic novel Frankenstein and the 1935 film, Bride of Frankenstein.
