A person reportedly brandished a weapon during an altercation, which led to fears of a shooting at Springfield Mall in Virginia, Fairfax County.

A Maryland man is facing charges for brandishing a gun inside Springfield Town Center over the weekend.

There was no confirmed shooting, and no injuries were reported, officials said.
