I often lunge my horses before riding, and always without side reins. Why? ✅ It gives the horse full freedom in the neck and back. ✅ No hand or rein blocking the natural swing. ✅ They can stretch forward-down freely. ✅ It helps release excess energy and warms up the body before adding the rider’s weight.
