People have a visceral reaction to hand saws. It's so weird. People suggest, in apparent serious, that I use a Sawzall to cut intricate joinery and lose their minds when I use a hand saw, instead. I'm not sure why this is. Sometimes a hand tool is the best tool for a particular job. Sometimes it is the only tool for a job. Sometimes It's just easier on the hands, quieter, and more pleasant to use. I own and use power tools, too, but using hand tools is always more satisfying. #timberframe #Timbe
