This is an example of the « classic » diminished sound on a guitar…you have the G#dim arpeggio (G# B D G#) vs the scale which i play by grouping of 5 (G# A# B C# D E F G) following the notes of the arpeggio. This scale is also called the 2.1 scale because of its structure: one whole step followed by one half step.
